Hi I'm Marianna and I'm passionate about empowering you to take control of your own wellbeing.

I’ve over 20 years experience within the health and wellbeing field. This includes working with a diverse range of people in the NHS, academic institutions, private and voluntary organisations including Listening Ear Merseyside and Rape and Sexual Abuse (RASA) centre. I'm trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) for group crisis interventions and have worked as a coach for KRTS International.

My understanding of cultural diversity has been enriched through travelling across North and South America, Thailand and by working as a community advocate in rural Mexico. Through my own personal journey, I’ve encountered both joys and sorrows of life which have led me to re-learn the art of self-care. This has enabled me to embody what I practice with others who wish to lead a happier, healthier life.

An Individual Approach...

My style of working as an Integrative counsellor and coach is rooted in a Person-Centred approach. This means that I take a holistic approach, using a range of therapeutic models and tools suited to your needs. These include, Eye Movement De-sensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Inner Child Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Ultimately, I believe that you’re the expert about you. You’re not broken, so counselling isn’t about ‘fixing’ you. What I can offer you is the time and space, without judgement, to enable you to find your own solutions.
